Today I celebrate finally letting go of you :) I love you, always will. I believe that there is this special dimension of time and space for us, but definitely not in this era. And I come to realize that :) I love you and I will not stop saying and praying it to God. He knows how much I prayed for you to be mine and I know that in some cosmic time, he’ll grant that wish of mine. I am gracefully letting you go. Mahal na mahal kita :* Mizpah. :)
Magic is dangerous-but love is dangerous still
It was a quote written at the back cover of the book. It is the kind of quote that would make anyone who is fishing something to read in the bookstore enticed to buy it and read it, expecting that it will be hell of a love story.
But no. It kinda disappointed me because I think that the teaser written at the back of the book (not just this particular quote but the whole synopsis at the back of the book) is overly dramatic compared to what actually happened inside the book.
But my negative comments about the book stops there.
Of course, Cassandra Clare is one of the best storyteller-writers that I read. She brings you into the Shadow World and you’ll just find yourself wanting to live into that world as well. She is good at character building. I like how she made the characters of Will, Jem and Tessa. And I also like how she gives equal importance to the side characters.
I especially like how she created Will Herondale very much like Jace Wayland of Mortal Instruments but totally different at the same time. Will is rough around the edges like all the time. He has a sensitive spot but doesn’t really show it that much, not even to Tessa. And I strangely like how jerk he is in this book. I mean seriously not just lying to look tough and mean to everyone but seriously a jerk. It’s weird but I like it.
I am so downright in love with Jem’s character. I think I don’t need to further explain that. I just simply love him <3
Overall I think the first book is good. It wasn’t Clare’s best but it lives up to the expectations of Mortal Instruments readers. I will be reading the second of the Infernal Devices installment which is the “Clockwork Prince”. I hope that the plot will get interesting. I am kind of expecting a lot especially since it is from Clare :)
Coz this guy is just simply irresistable :X
I’m different, learn to accept it.

Do you have Harry Potter book seven, part two?
Book seven is just one volume.
But the movie has two parts, so there must be a second book. They don't just make movies from nothing!
